Coaches:
Little Dynamos has been working hard to create the best program and to find the best people to deliver it. There will be multiple qualified teachers working on the day with First Aid training to ensure that safety is paramount.
In Netball, Sasha Glasgow, the 2022 Grand Final MVP from the West Coast Fever, has joined Little Dynamos as our Director of Netball. She brings with her a wealth of experience and is the main contributor to the program design. Drills and skills from the highest level have been adapted to suit each year level to give them a massive advantage in their netball development. There will be a number of experienced netball coaches and players to help deliver the program, and as always, Little Dynamos makes sure that every minute is fun and engaging! Please note, Sasha has prior commitments with the West Coast Fever on Thursday, and as a result, she will be able to attend the Tuesday and Wednesday programs.
In AFL, Little Dynamos has secured multiple Peel Thunder players and coaches to come down and share their experience. We have coaches who have won multiple premierships, Best and Fairest awards, and State representation and know exactly what it takes to be the best footballer you can be! Our AFL Director, Josh Bowe, has used his extensive career in Footy, PE teaching, and collaboration with elite players to design a program that will bring a lot of value to kids of all abilities who want to accelerate their development. Not to mention, there will be a lot of games and prizes to be won throughout the day!
In AFLW, another exciting addition to the Little Dynamos team is 2-Time WAFL Premiership Player, Abby Barnden. As a passionate PE teacher as well, there is no one better in our opinion for aspiring girls to look up to as they start their AFLW journey. As our new Director of AFLW, she brings all her knowledge from Peel Thunder and parts of the AFL program to give girls everything they need to succeed in footy. Along with other coaches from Peel Thunder, kids are sure to have a whole lot of fun along the way!
